Artist's Comments

Another fanart of mine...this time of my favourite swordsman,Kenshin!! This one was based on a drawing from Rurouni Kenshin the animated series,which you've probably seen on the net (the original drawing showed Kenshin playing with the kitten,and Sanosuke is sitting behind Kenshin,but I've omitted him in my drawing) I did not like the way they drew Kenshin's face,so I redrew it based on the manga. As for the kitten,I just gave it a plain colour as oppose to the tortoishell pattern of the original,cos I like it this way.I like this picture very much,cos it feels very cheery, calm and peaceful. The original cg did not have a background,just plain white but after seeing all the wonderful drawings around deviantart,I thought,yikes,I need a background....so I kinda added a dreamy,grassy background to enhance the overall drawing.
